Lackawanna County, the City of Scranton and the Lackawanna Heritage Valley Authority (LHVA) officials convene at the Nay Aug Avenue Nature Play Area in Scranton to finalize a working partnership between the County and LHVA. The park project was a true intergovernmental partnership between the County, City of Scranton, Lackawanna County and the LHVA. The City donated the land, LHVA secured funding and built the park, and now the County’s Parks & Recreation Department will maintain the grounds in cooperation with LHVA.
