This Spring, Willy Evanitsky, fourth from left, became the PIAA Class 3A State Champion, capturing a gold medal in the 152 pound weight class. The Scranton High School senior began his wrestling career in the sixth grade and has competed in several major tournaments along with the Lackawanna League. Willy is Scranton High’s first State Champion and the first Lackawanna League gold medalist since 2010.
