Lackawanna County 4-H and Lackawanna Library Summer Programming
Mondays during the summer will be very exciting with the Lackawanna Library Summer Youth Programming featuring projects from Lackawanna County 4-H.
Expressive Art 4-H activities will be featured this summer bi-weekly on Mondays, beginning June 15. Lessons will be demonstrated via video and available for area youth to join in at their convenience.
The Lackawanna 4-H-Lackwanna Library partnership will take a creative look into recipes, environmental issues, and textiles activities, setting the foundation for creative problem solving in other areas of youth development. Administered in Pennsylvania by the Penn State Extension, 4-H is a community of more than 6 million young people across America learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. Penn State Extension 4-H youth development educators in all 67 counties throughout the commonwealth administer local 4-H programs through non-formal education and outreach.
