Crotti’s on Ash was the small business spotlighted at the September 19 Lackawanna County Commissioners Meeting. This upscale restaurant is located in Scranton’s Hill Section on Ash Street. Established in July 2016, Crotti’s offers a new twist on the corner bar idea with a house-made vodka cocktail list, special martini’s, and a variety of small bites, meats, fruit and cheese boards, hummus and pizza to share. Owners Joe Crotti and Sheila Sankar came from grocery, restaurant and mixology backgrounds. The restaurant is open six days a week with live entertainment and a showcase for local artists to display/sell their wares.
