Organizers of the Vietnam War Commemoration ceremony gather in flag plaza at the Lackawanna County Courthouse to finalize plans for the Sunday, September 23, event that will be conducted on Courthouse Square at 11 AM. All living veterans, who served on active duty in the U.S. military between November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, are eligible to participate in the program and to be recognized with a special Vietnam Veteran lapel pin.
