The Lackawanna County Commissioners recognized Dominic Argenta, center, for his quick thinking and “Good Works” in saving a person’s life with the Heimlich Maneuver. On July 1, a woman was in distress at his family’s restaurant, “Downtown Victoria’s.” Mr. Argenta dislodged the blockage with the Heimlich, which he learned in a lifesavings skills class at Scranton Prep.
