The third grade students at William Prescott Elementary School turned their lesson on helping others into a number of “Good Works” for area homeless veterans. The youngsters created 11 colorful blankets and conducted a sock drive all which were donated to individuals at St. Francis Commons, Scranton, to help them keep warm this Winter.
