The Keystone Rescue Mission Alliance is a “safe haven” for people dealing with homelessness, abuse, alcoholism, or release from prison. Its “Good Works” involve providing meals five evenings a week, “Kids Klothes,” haircuts, food, toiletries and other goods and services to those in need. There are 300 Rescue Missions across the country with 13 in Pennsylvania. The Lackawanna County Commissioners recognized the agency for its work with the less fortunate of the community.
