City of Carbondale officials accept the deed to the property on which the White Bridge Playground, Hemlock Street, sits. The Lackawanna County Board of Commissioners donated the property to the City after it remained on the County’s tax delinquent repository list since the 1940’s. The City has maintained the property as a public park since the early 1960’s.
