We are committed to the values which established Earth Day decades ago. We want people to understand they can have a positive effect on the environment and our community. Visit with the master gardeners as they will have information on composting, growing vegetables, herbs, pollinator gardening and more. We can answer any of your home gardening questions. We will also have some fun and games. Plus, you can take home prizes – free seedling tree and herbs.
Our friends at the Marketplace at Steamtown will be hosting us Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first floor, center court of the mall, 300 Lackawanna Avenue, Scranton.
Special guests with us will include:
- Lackawanna College Environmental Education Center
- Lackawanna River Conservation Association
- The Greenhouse Project
- Lackawanna County Office of Environmental Sustainability
- LHVA
- Lackawanna Backyard Beekeepers Association
- Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards And more!
