The Lackawanna County Commissioners presented a proclamation to Daniel Edwards in recognition of his retirement as Mayor of Moscow. Mr. Edwards served the Borough for over 32 years, starting as a Councilman in 1984 and winning the Mayor’s post in 1990. During his tenure, he oversaw Moscow’s comprehensive tree planting program, recycling initiative, the development of three parks, and the construction of both a new Borough Building and sewer plant.
