Also known as the “Santa Train,” this annual program brings Santa and his friends to five communities on a special locomotive from Steam town National Historic Site. Each town welcomes Santa with family-friendly activities, treats, and live entertainment.
Festival of Trees-December
A month long exhibit of Holiday Trees decorated by local organizations at the Electric City Trolley Museum. Opening Reception features music and appetizers. Funds raised benefit Toys for Tots.

Located on the property of Steamtown National Historic Site, Lackawanna County operates the facilty consisting of a museum open year round and trolley excursions running May-October and a special Santa Trolley in December. Trolley ride is a 10 mile round trip to the PNC Baseball Stadium that goes through a 100 year old tunnel.
