Disabled Scranton Veterans Property Tax Bills Clarification

Disabled Scranton Veterans Property Tax Bills Clarification

The Lackawanna County Veterans Affairs Office would like to provide disabled Scranton veterans with information in regard to the property tax bills that were recently mailed to all residents.

Disabled veterans who have a property tax exemption will still receive an invoice from the Single Tax Office.  It is not a property tax bill; it represents the City of Scranton’ garbage fee.  It must be paid.

Any questions on this matter should be directed to the Veterans Affairs Office at 570/963/6778.
