Sleigh Riding Is Back At McDade Park

Sleigh Riding Is Back At McDade Park

McDade Park is once again offering some exciting Winter fun…sleigh riding.

Thanks to the recent snowfall, the hill is ready for this free, old-fashioned Winter activity.

The sled hill area is located near the 911 Memorial across from the park’s second pavilion.  It will be open seven days a week from dawn until dusk while the snow lasts.  Parking in all of the lots is free.

Safety measures have been taken with large bales of hay located at the bottom of the hill to cushion any contact.  Safety rules have been posted for everyone to follow in order to make this an enjoyable experience.

Individuals are encouraged to contact the park’s office at 570-963-6764 to check on the conditions after a snowfall.
